What domain name can I use

You can choose any domain name that you like. You just have to make sure it’s available, which you can do for example here:

What is WordPress

WordPress is a popular content management system (CMS) that allows users to easily create and manage websites without extensive coding knowledge. It offers a user-friendly interface, and supports various types of content, making it suitable for bloggers, businesses, and online publications. WordPress powers a significant portion of the internet and is known for its flexibility and scalability.

What is hosting

Website hosting is like renting a space on the internet where your website’s files, images, and content are stored. It’s similar to having a virtual storefront where people can visit to see what you have to offer. The hosting company takes care of the technical aspects, ensuring your website is available to anyone who wants to visit it online.

What’s the difference between this and f.e. Sqaurespace or Wix

Quite a few. Firstly, this is a service with a real person who will do the website for you. You don’t have to learn anything. Second of all, the website will be running on WordPress, which is a free open-source software, so the monthly cost is significantly cheaper. And last, you can always reach out to me when you need help.

How do we make the website

The process is described on the page of the Portfolio website here:

What if I need some adjustments after the call

It’s often the case that you wish for additional changesm and you don’t want to do them yourself. Therefore, I offer additional time of mine that you can purchase. I charge by half an hour because it’s typically small and quick things, so I don’t have to charge you a whole hour for every little thing. Additonal half-hour

What font can I use

You can use any of the Google fonts, or you can have your own. If you want your own, you need a .woff file of that font.

What colors can I use

Absolutely any colors you like. Ideally, you should choose the colors in what’s called HEX code, e.g. #000000 for black.
